5th Dan Grading

At a special grading session this evening, Sensei Kevin Christopher was promoted to 5th Dan after satisfying the requirements of Shotokan Karate Organisation International and Yanagi Kai Karate Association.

At 69 years young, Sensei Kevin showed that he can still cut it with the youngsters after some determined Kata performances and some excellent Jiyu Kumite.

Since joining the club after lockdown, Sensei has been a welcome addition to the club and association passing his knowledge and wisdom onto our members on a weekly basis.

A very well done from all of our members.

Peter and Tony have been with the EKF Referee and Coaching team for many years and bring a great deal of knowledge and expertise to the new Roles. These Roles will not only help to grow a Strong Referee team but also, enhance the knowledge of the coaches.
